Par exemple, si vous embauchez un employ\u00e9, vous devrez soumettre les versements de paie, qui incluent la retenue d\u2019imp\u00f4t et Medicare, \u00e0 l\u2019IRS. Cependant, si quelqu\u2019un est entrepreneur, vous n\u2019avez pas besoin de collecter et de soumettre ces envois de fonds.  \n\nVous ne classez peut-\u00eatre pas volontairement un employ\u00e9 \u00e0 tort, mais c\u2019est facile de faire une erreur aussi. Vous devrez aussi effectuer des paiements \u00e0 Medicare et \u00e0 la S\u00e9curit\u00e9 sociale. Cela signifie que vous n\u2019avez pas \u00e0 offrir de cong\u00e9s pay\u00e9s ni \u00e0 payer les cong\u00e9s. \n\nC\u2019est tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rent du Canada, o\u00f9 la loi pr\u00e9voit un minimum de cong\u00e9s pay\u00e9s par ann\u00e9e ainsi qu\u2019un certain nombre de jours f\u00e9ri\u00e9s l\u00e9gaux pour les travailleurs.\n\nLes cong\u00e9s pay\u00e9s, les vacances, voire les cong\u00e9s sont \u00e0 la discr\u00e9tion de l\u2019employeur. Offrir des cong\u00e9s pay\u00e9s et des cong\u00e9s peut vous donner un avantage concurrentiel pour embaucher des employ\u00e9s.
