Chaque province du Canada poss\u00e8de son propre programme d\u2019assurance, que chaque employeur doit utiliser. Il n\u2019existe pas d\u2019options priv\u00e9es pour l\u2019assurance accidents du travail au Canada.  <\/p>\n<h2><strong>O\u00f9 s\u2019inscrire<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Comme mentionn\u00e9, chaque province du Canada <a href=\"https:\/\/www.resolutelegal.ca\/workers-compensation-benefits\" rel=\" noopener\">g\u00e8re son propre programme<\/a>, avec ses propres r\u00e8gles, pour indemniser les travailleurs bless\u00e9s. Par cons\u00e9quent, un employeur doit ouvrir un compte dans chaque province o\u00f9 il pr\u00e9voit op\u00e9rer. <\/p>\n<p>Par exemple, un employeur en Ontario doit s\u2019inscrire aupr\u00e8s de la Commission de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et de l\u2019assurance en milieu de travail (WSIB). Leur compte offrira une assurance \u00e0 leurs employ\u00e9s en Ontario. <\/p>\n<p>Si cet employeur ouvre ensuite une succursale en Alberta et embauche des employ\u00e9s l\u00e0-bas, son assurance WSIB ne les couvre pas. L\u2019employeur doit s\u2019enregistrer aupr\u00e8s de la Commission de l\u2019indemnisation des travailleurs de l\u2019Alberta pour offrir une assurance \u00e0 ses employ\u00e9s albertains. <\/p>\n<h2><strong>Quand s\u2019inscrire<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Pour compliquer les choses, non seulement vous avez besoin de comptes s\u00e9par\u00e9s pour chaque province o\u00f9 vous op\u00e9rez, mais chaque province a des r\u00e8gles diff\u00e9rentes sur le moment et la fa\u00e7on de s\u2019enregistrer.<\/p>\n<p>En Ontario, vous ne pouvez pas faire de demande de compte aupr\u00e8s de la WSIB tant que vous n\u2019avez pas une date de d\u00e9but d\u2019employ\u00e9. En Alberta, vous pouvez vous pr\u00e9inscrire pour un compte et embaucher des employ\u00e9s plus tard. En Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse, vous pourriez retarder l\u2019ouverture d\u2019un compte jusqu\u2019\u00e0 ce que vous ayez trois employ\u00e9s.  <\/p>\n<p>Il est important de v\u00e9rifier les r\u00e8gles concernant le moment o\u00f9 vous devrez vous inscrire. En Ontario, vous devez vous inscrire d\u00e8s que votre premier employ\u00e9 commence. Si vous attendiez d\u2019avoir embauch\u00e9 trois personnes, vous pourriez faire face \u00e0 de lourdes amendes. Le pr\u00e9-enregistrement en Alberta offre encore moins de marge de man\u0153uvre aux employeurs.
